What the Wiki! What's with De Bono?

I've got to say i'm not a big fan of the wiki. The fact that it can be edited by anyone is not a good thing in a school situation (or most others infact). Even though the founder of the wiki has ultimate control over  the content, there is still that ability to have your work manipulated, and not always in the best way.
Give me a blog anyday; where people can comment on my blog and not change anything i say.
The Wiki has a limited  scope for modifying the layout as compared to a website or blog. I can see how a wiki would be a great way to collaborate with people when distance is an issue. All ideas can be input and added to others. The thing with that is, there needs to be a set of known rules, that everyone knows and abides by so nothing unwanted or offensive is added. I seem to be repeating myself but i don't see how it can be effectively used in the Manual Arts Department.

I found the de Bono's hats a bit uninteresting. but enjoyed the theories of Blooms Taxonomy. Blooms is more structured to me and a bit more logical. De Bono is a bit all over the place and confusing, or maybe it's just how it's been explained to me.

As you can see Blooms is easy and clear to understand

And this is just a mess!

I rest my case!
